Enriching community by uniting and developing young professionals, through relationship building, networking, and professional development. Anyone who works for a chamber member is invited to participate. For professionals between the ages of 21-40. $35 membership fee for basic members. Free to bronze, silver, gold, and platinum members.
This team is made up of chamber master representatives. This group meets monthly to ensure the chamber is focused on its mission of welcoming businesses, unifying the community, and creating possibilities, elections are held in October. Directors are elected for a three-year term.
Connecting the community is the Sparta Ambassador’s mission. This team serves as a liaison between Chamber Members and the Sparta Community. They hold monthly meetings where they plan campaigns to attract new members and how to better the community. Ambassadors attend member Ribbon Cuttings, Open Houses, and other Chamber Events. Ambassadors support chamber and community events through volunteerism.
Meets monthly and strategically plans community events and marketing campaigns with the goal of attracting tourists to the area. Membership is guided by statute and approved by Board of Directors.
Focuses their energy on the very important activity of attracting new chamber members and retaining current members.
Develops Lunch N’ Learns, Legislative Breakfasts, and continuing education programs to benefit Sparta area businesses and the community.
Selects entertainment and plans the. Summer concert series, including concessioners. Plans for promotion and recruit’s sponsors.
Plans fundraising activities to benefit the Chamber such as cabin fever and the annual chamber golf outing.
Not committed to a monthly or reoccurring meeting but would like to volunteer? We have options from helping clean the trail and river, to using manpower at community events. We'd love to have you!
